RICHARD WENTWORTH - Thursday 05/10/17, 3.30-5.30pm
Richard Wentworth (b. 1947, lives London) has played a leading role in New British Sculpture since the late 1970s, was Professor of Sculpture at The Royal College of Art, London. In his art, Wentworth shuns monumental gesture, finding his materials in the everyday world, a world of things and thoughts already ready made. A thirty-year retrospective of his work was held at Tate Liverpool in 2005. (Courtesy Lisson Gallery, London)
