Hetti Perkins has been a senior cultural advisor on numerous national and international arts projects. She worked at the Art Gallery of New South Wales between 1989-2011, which included thirteen years as Senior Curator of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Art. She has curated major survey exhibitions of Indigenous art, including Australia’s representation at the Venice Biennale 1997 and the Australian Indigenous Art Commission at the Musée du quai Branly, Paris. She edited One Sun One Moon: Aboriginal Art in Australia. She is currently Curatorial Advisor to Eora Journey, the City of Sydney’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander public art program.
