Sven ’t Jolle  is a Belgian sculptor who has been based in Melbourne since 2010. He first came to Australia in 1999 for the Melbourne International Biennial (creative director: Juliana Engberg), as one of three artists selected for the Belgian pavilion curated by Jan Hoet. Exhibitions in Australia include Collecting debt and other bad moods, curated by Bala Starr, La Trobe Art Institute, La Trobe University, Bendigo (2023–2024), and Simon Denny: MINE, curated by Jarrod Rawlins and Emma Pike, MONA, Hobart (2019–2020). Solo exhibitions include A Touch of Class, Antagonism at Le Portique, Le Havre (FR) (2019) and The Age of Entitlement, or Affordable Tooth Extraction, at WIELS, Brussels (BE), curated by Zoë Gray (2017).
