Oscar Perry: HIGH MIDDLE AGES

It is with pleasure that The Commercial presents HIGH MIDDLE AGES, a solo exhibition of new paintings and sculptures by Oscar Perry. The exhibition comprises eight large format abstract paintings on linen and jute which, typical of Perry, is each given an expressly individuated identity of painterly treatments, surface textures and other accumulated marks of time.

Perry's studio in the Heidelberg area of Victoria provides both indoor and outdoor opportunities for painting. Likewise, the exhibition offers works produced under more conventional painting parameters to those subjected to the distresses of plein air weathering.
