Queensland Art Gallery | Gallery of Modern Art, Brisbane, has announced a major survey exhibition, Justene Williams: Once we were mudskippers, curated by Ellie Buttrose. Spanning three decades of sculpture, performance, video and installation, the exhibition will be the largest presentation of Williams' work to date, bringing together works from public collections alongside ambitious new commissions, tracing Williams’ exuberant, anarchic and deeply art-historical practice. Justene Williams is exhibiting in Ladies to the Front – The Art of Noise curated by Margaret Hancock at Margaret Whitlam Galleries at Western Sydney University, Sydney. The exhibition foregrounds women across performance, sound and visual art, led by WSU alumnae. Exhibition: 08.04.26 — 16.07.26
